I was born in the city of Burbank in sunny California. Life would take me to Tennessee one fateful day after visiting simply to see the roots of American Rock and Roll and falling in love with pretty much everything else in town, and I’ve been here ever since. There’s so much to love: the halls where the Elvis and his predecessors had their start, the many award-winning golf courses, the vibrant sports culture.

I’m currently taking up journalism and hope to one day produce my own sports program dedicated to golf. For now, though, enjoy my blog on such varied topics as the history of rock and roll, my alma mater’s rivalry with Louisville, and golf. Well, admittedly, mostly the latter.

A lot of people take one look at golf and they wonder how much effort goes into it. Or even worse, they wonder if it’s a sport. It’s not like basketball or football. Golfers don’t sweat. Although it may look more complicated than kicking a soccer ball, or shooting a ball through hoops, or punching a heavy bag, or just running, there are a few steps that could make your initial game easier than you expected.
